TBRI® or Trust-Based Relational Intervention is an evidence-based, trauma-competent approach designed to meet the complex needs of those who have experienced toxic stress from relational trauma. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. As a certified TBRI® practitioner Lara can help both caregivers and professionals to see and meet the needs of those who are made vulnerable by their circumstances.
